 Participates in public performances as a drummer in a rock band.

1971
 Entrance in Staatliche Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (National Art Academy of Düsseldorf); takes classes from Professor Erwin Heerich; studies Liberal Arts, majoring in: labour in workshops, experiments with glass-fibre strengthened polyester and deep drawn polystol.

1972
 Resides in St. Prex/VD, Switzerland, in Atelier Pierro Sarto: learns copperplate engraving, etching, lithography and serial printing.

1973
 Attends the Folkwang-Academy/University of Essen: studies Industrial Design under Professors S. Lengyel, S. Boeckmann und R. Knubel.

1977
 Earns degree as Grad. Industrial Designer: drafts a sports car with safety cubicle.

1978
 Relocates to Switzerland, to Bremgarten/AG and begins employment at Walserdesign Oberrhodorf/Baden as a designer for capital goods. (BBC/ABB, Mikron, Therma, AEBI, Schulthess among others)

1979
 Works together with Hairmatic-AG and D. W. Lietke as well as in Sales Concept-Marketing, design and manufacturing of consumer goods, development and serial production of (Ladenbau-Verkaufssystemen)

1983
 Founds Mediapoint System Holding with André Thomkins and Paul Gredinger as a partner and consultant. Relocates with Madeleine Meyer to Maidenhead/England and opens his own design office specializing in design and serial manufacturing of fine sheet-metal shells for audio-visual presentation systems.
Develops the Tele-Tell-Video Presentation System with Video-South/Alistair Holdoway/Bath.

1985
 Marries Madeleine Meyer-Thomkins. Relocates to Lucern und Hospental. Opens additional offices in Essen and Lucern.

1986
 Relocates to Essen and develops first drafts for Gunther Lambert/MG and Video Sales Systems for chemical works company Chemische Werke Heitmann/Warburg.

1987
 Exhibits own furniture models at Sphinx Wohntechnik - Heinrich Süess/Lucern.
Son John Morris is born. Conceptualizes and designs for Küppersbusch "Zoom"-Kochmulde; collaborates with M. Botsch in the development of Galaxi-Leuchtkastensystems (light box systems) for P. Pfau KH/MH

1989
 Son Lucien is born.
Collaborates with S. Ambrozus and intensifes designing in the areas of kitchen appliances-, (Ladenbau-) und furniture.

1989-1993
 Develops the office cabinet system "Tabeo".

1990
 Collaboration with Vitrashop/Weil on the Rhein, Tafiwave AG (Oberlikon Bührle Holding), additional collections for G. Lambert.

1991
 Founds the "T. B. A. Designer Society" (Thomkins, Botsch, Ambrozus) in Essen. Acquisition and reconstruction of an old house "Auf Weinbergli 11" in Lucern. Constructs vacation home "Matheu" on Sardina with brother-in-law Peter Parisi.

1992
 Relocates family to Lucern. Launches grand opening of T. B. A.-offices in Lucern and moves the T. B. A.-offices/Essen into the spacious offices of the Altendorferstraße/Essen-city centre.

1993
 M. Botsch departs from the T.B.A.-offices and the exclusive designing duties for Imperial. Develops and presents Top-Draft-Cooker Hood Sysems for Imperial/Miele, as well as the lighting system "Airline" and the "Tabeo"-Office Cabinet for "Lambert-Objekt".

1994
 Founds a marketing company together with G. Lambert and J. v. Geel for the distribution of T. B. A.-created models. Collaborates with H. Süess und D. Arnegger in marketing.
